PayoFlux
How It Works

From Onboarding
to Settlement

Follow the complete merchant journey — KYC approval, API or hosted integration, payment lifecycle, webhooks, reconciliation, disbursements, fraud controls, and ongoing support.

Merchant Journey

One continuous path from first signup to scaled operations

PayoFlux is designed as an end-to-end payment operating system — not a single API call. Follow the journey below to see how merchants onboard, integrate, accept, settle, and scale.

Phase 01
Merchant Onboarding

From signup to approved account

Every merchant completes a structured onboarding path before live traffic is enabled — so compliance, pricing, and operational readiness are clear from day one.

Outcome

Approved merchant account with sandbox access and a clear path to live processing.

1

Create your account

Register with email or Google, verify your identity, and secure the account with optional two-factor authentication.

2

Complete KYC details

Submit business profile, processing details, directors (for companies), and required identity or incorporation documents.

3

Video KYC & agreements

Complete video verification when required, then review and accept platform agreements before rate assignment.

4

Review & go-live readiness

Our team reviews the application, assigns commercial rates, and unlocks live credentials after approval.

Phase 02
Integration

Connect once — choose your acceptance path

PayoFlux supports three production-ready integration styles. Start in sandbox, validate flows end-to-end, then switch to live keys without redesigning your stack.

Outcome

A validated integration path with documentation, sandbox proof, and production credentials ready.

1

REST Charge API

Server-to-server card charging with encrypted payloads, idempotency support, and live/test path separation.

2

Hosted Checkout

Redirect customers to a secure hosted card page when you prefer not to handle card capture UI yourself.

3

Payment Links

Generate branded, shareable links with fixed or customer-entered amounts — ideal for invoices, sales teams, and remote collections.

4

Credentials & sandbox

Use test API keys, encryption keys, and test cards (including 3DS simulation) before processing real transactions.

Phase 03
Payment Lifecycle

What happens on every transaction

Each payment moves through a controlled lifecycle — from request intake to gateway authorization, status confirmation, and merchant notification.

Outcome

Higher authorization rates with full visibility from request to confirmed payment status.

1

Request intake

Your system sends a charge, hosted checkout, or payment-link request with amount, currency, and card or customer context.

2

Risk checkpoints

Configurable rules evaluate card, BIN, email, IP, and domain signals. Allowlists and velocity limits can block or allow before routing.

3

Smart routing & cascading

The platform selects an acquiring connector by priority or split logic. On decline or failure, cascading can retry the next eligible gateway.

4

Authorization & status

The gateway authorizes or challenges (including 3DS). Final status is available via API lookup and pushed through webhooks.

Phase 04
Operations

Run payments from one dashboard

After go-live, merchants operate day-to-day payment workflows from a unified portal — without jumping between gateway consoles.

Outcome

Centralized operations for finance, support, and engineering teams.

1

Monitor transactions

Search sandbox and production payments, inspect timelines, export records, and track statuses in real time.

2

Refunds & disputes

Request refunds from the merchant portal and collaborate with ops on chargeback or suspicious flags when needed.

3

Webhooks & notifications

Receive queued webhook events with retries, review delivery history, and keep your systems synchronized.

4

Support tickets

Raise merchant support tickets directly from the portal for technical or operational issues.

Phase 05
Settlement

Reconciliation to disbursement

Settlement is designed for finance teams: transparent reconciliations, balance visibility, and controlled disbursement requests.

Outcome

Clear money movement from successful payments to reconciled balances and payouts.

1

Reconciliation records

View generated reconciliations, balances, and history so funding cycles stay auditable and predictable.

2

Settlement destinations

Configure bank or crypto destinations with the account details your finance team needs for payouts.

3

Wallet disbursements

Request or cancel disbursements against available balance, with clear request status in the portal.

4

Reporting packs

Export operational reports and share password-protected analytics packs with stakeholders when required.

Phase 06
Scale & Protect

Grow without rebuilding payments

As volume grows, PayoFlux scales with multi-gateway connectivity, stronger risk posture, partner programs, and dedicated operational tooling.

Outcome

A payment stack that expands with your business instead of becoming a bottleneck.

1

Expand connectors

Add or rebalance acquiring gateways through routing rules — without a new merchant integration.

2

Strengthen fraud posture

Tune risk rules, IP/card allowlists, and velocity controls as your traffic patterns evolve.

3

Partner distribution

Work with partners for referrals and commission visibility through the partner portal.

4

Enterprise operations

Rely on RBAC-backed admin workflows, auditability, and support channels built for production payment teams.

Payment Lifecycle

Visual flow of a successful charge

Every card payment follows the same governed path — so finance, engineering, and support share one operational model.
